Kate Wade’s artistic journey began the moment she saw color. She began picking up crayons to capture her mind whirling thoughts onto paper. Throughout middle and high school her artistic creativity continued to blossom as she immersed herself in both visual and musical art. Kate not only played in the school's competitive bands and marching band, but was a major contributor to the design, construction, and painting of the theatrical props used in competitions. It was during this time that she made her choice to pursue a career in art.

​With a BFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Kate plans to display her work in galleries and participate in residencies across the world. While studying at SCAD, her canvases have become a reflection of the unbridled passion for pushing her own boundaries in the art world. Immersed in the creative environment, she has fearlessly explored, and refined her unique style.

Kate’s work has been displayed in galleries and shops in Kansas City, MO, Charlotte, NC, Savannah, GA, and online platforms. She anticipates sharing her works with a wider audience to change perspectives and embrace the continuous evolution of her pieces.
